  Stop being scared of losing money lol. That fear is why most people never even start. We watch others win while we sit back worried about getting scammed. But risk comes before reward, no pain no gain. Ask questions, learn from people doing it, don't let fear stop you. I used to be scared too but once I pushed past it and stayed focused, everything changed.

  Warren Buffet once said 99.99% of investors should buy the market rather than sectors or companies. This advice was good enough for me and have followed it all my life. A global low cost etf has all my money

  I am moving to a fund where I can't tinker. slightly more on the fee but it stops me doing stuff to fluff my wealth building.

  I am not sure the ‘Factor Based Investing’ is sold correctly here especially to a group of retail investors. The idea the average retail investor can identify alpha and vega over a sustained period is not achievable and will likely lead to losses. Low cost ETFs are mainly passive trackers which just reflect the market? Actively managed as you say are expensive. Please rethink the message here on this point. Retail investors should really be in passive whole market ETFs
