  100% equities when you are young, you can change your risk exposure as you get into your 40&apos;s and 50&apos;s, bet even then, never long term bonds, since long term bonds almost always under perform inflation.

  i think with the recent sudden changes to passive index rules to allow these new IPOs to join quick is another factor that now makes me weary of 100% passive index investing, how these massive ipos are being handled feels like a disservice to anyone holding these indexs.<br><br>granted i dont do that myself and majority of my portfolio has been individual stocks since i started. but passive index equity has been my go to recommend to family wanting to do something easy that they can just kinda put into the back of their mind.

  Just to let you know: both Damien and Romin produce what I consider to be the very best UK-based financial content on the internet. Everything they do is basically unskippable as far as I’m concerned. <br><br>Whenever they get together like this, it’s like a gift. A glorious accumulation of their respective skills and knowledge. I look forward to every video/podcast where they collaborate and I very much encourage them to always produce more content like this going forward. Great job to them both and their respective production teams.

  he had enough money. thumbnail is a bit clickbaity honestly. Anyone that knows Ramit’s work knows he is unlikely to time the market or even suggest he could but thats whats implied. If you’ve saved enough for retirement you can slow down how much risk you’re putting your portfolio under.
