I took your advice and looked at salary sacrificing more of my salary to bring down my ANI. Not only does this increase my pension contributions massively, reduces the tax i pay but it also unlocks child benefit for my wife that I was previously deemed to be earning too much for (utter nonsense mind!). Thanks for this tip, that alone has shaped my investing future.

Great video. I wish I had these type of financial education videos to watch 20 years ago as I would have retired by now if so. Done so many things wrong in the past but learning as I go and now trying to make up for lost time…

Well put; I salary sacrifice down to £60k to prevent the Child Benefit tax trap (I also have student loans so my marginal tax rate between £60-80k is ridiculous)
