  I&apos;m a truck driver by trade. A while back I did a couple of night runs and after ending my shift, traveling home and suddenly I couldn&apos;t figure out which freeway I was even on. Then I realized I was on the right freeway but i couldn&apos;t remember even getting on that freeway. I can&apos;t even imagine flying a plane and having something like that happening. Wind can cause us enough problems so I can&apos;t even imagine flying a plane in it.

  What I like in your videos is that you put the audience inside the cockpit, and instead of saying condescending phrases like &quot;the pilots were acting carelessly,&quot; putting all the blame on the pilots&apos; decision-making process, you really allow us to imagine what it would be like to make the decision in their condition and from their perspective. One of many reasons I keep coming back to this channel.

  I&apos;m a software engineer and any time I hear of an attempt to fix bad handling characteristics by software, a shudder runs down my back. Doc Maybe&apos;s Rule: doubling the complexity of the task the software has to solve invariably delivers eight times the amount of bollocks. It&apos;s far safer just to design a good airframe in the first place. Which in turn can only happen if the marketing types are kept locked outside in the cold, bleating and hammering at the door.
