  She was known as &quot; Charlotte the Brat&quot; She, like cousin Beatrice of Edinburgh, wasca known troublemaker and gossip. She had a car and cigars. Many years after her death, exhumation and bone biopsy, proved she carried the mutation for Porphyria. Her daughter Feodora had the same and committed suicide.

  How many diseases and inherited conditions have various royals throughout Europe been afflicted with over many centuries? I attribute it to marriages between close relatives and intermarriage. The same blood passed down over and over again.

  generational bad parenting. starting with the abnormal childhood of queen victoria, moving right along to her poor mothering skills, resulting in vickie&apos;s ineptitude as a mother. particularly dire results with kaiser wilhem and now we also learn, princess charlotte. charlotte seems to have upheld the &quot;bad mom&quot; tradition quite ably. a perfect example of the folly of trusting power to people based on birth inheritance.
