  A fascinating perspective on the reasons why HM QEII never wore these jewels. But the Spencer Tiara has no place in this list because it has absolutely no connection to HM QEII whatsoever.

  Lady Diana wore the Spencer tiara because her family owned a tiara, just like every other aristocrat bride has done and will do should her family be so fortunate. I'm sure the Queen couldn't have cared less?

  Because Diana’s family had a tiara, it would not have been acceptable for her to not wear it.  Althorp is pronounced Althrop.

  The Strathmore rose tiara was worn in the Flapper era, not Edwardian .

  They are crowns that no longer has purpose. There is no need for her to wear them,,, and they are formal crowns. <br>Two where for consorts not a Regent.<br>Tiaras are not crowns, two of them she probably did not wear out of respect to her mother because they were her favorites.

  IMO the Koh i Nor must stay with the UK. It must not be returned to India, Pakistan or anywhere else. &nbsp;The then-ruler of India gifted it to Britain in an act of good faith and whatever else was appropriate at the time - maybe submission to Empire. His age at the time was immaterial: he was the legitimate ruler. <br>I&apos;m exasperated by the woke determination to rewrite the permanence of history.
