  My ex was like this. Pursued me, asked me about marriage and kids 1.5 months in and we agreed on a timeline for a proposal in our early 30&apos;s. 3 years later and we lived together, traveled together, spent time with each other&apos;s families... and all of a sudden when the timeline came, he suddenly &quot;wasn&apos;t sure&quot; and stopped putting effort in. I asked why and he wouldn&apos;t give me an answer. I told him sounds like you&apos;re using this as a placeholder and he said that wasn&apos;t true. I gave him a million warnings that if this kept up, I was out because I told him my timeline. His behavior got worse and when I kept my word and left? He went crying to everyone that &quot;the breakup came out of nowhere!&quot;<br><br>Don&apos;t settle, ladies!

  I wasted 5.5 years on a man who needed time. We got together in my late 20s, and I finally left when I was 33. He pulled the &quot;I want you to have my children&quot; line after I left, too. A few times, he even tried to convince me to have a baby with him while saying we needed to live together at least 2 years before getting married (after 5 years dating and living separately). He is the most manipulative person I have ever met. <br><br>I met my husband pretty much right away after leaving my ex. He moved mountains in order to be with me - to date me, court me, and soon marry me. We&apos;ve been married almost 3 years and have a 1yo daughter together. He still treats me like he is actively choosing me every single day. <br><br>IF HE WANTED TO, HE WOULD!

  When I was in my early twenties my aunt once told me that if it’s marriage and children that I want when in a relationship with a man and if in 2 years of the relationship his intentions are not clear I should just leave there’s no need to waste my time

  i was with a man who ONLY realized how much he loved me when i left…then somehow forgot again the second i came back. he “forgot” and then “remembered” my worth 8 different times until i got the hint and LEFT HIM for good. don’t fall for it ladies

  He is worried his free services are about to end. Thats all. Cook, cleaner, sex worker, surrogate, fashion advice, designer, pr advisor, someone going halfsies on the property and other expenses - he&apos;d need to be on 1 or 2 million a year to afford it all if he actually paid for it.
