  My husband listened as I played along with you. He said it was beautiful. &nbsp;I find this so encouraging.I am tired of trying to memorize music that others wrote. It is very therapeutic to improvise on piano and noodle around. This video gives you a beautiful framework.

  I am not a professional pianist by any means, but I can read music on the treble clef quite well - the bass clef I usually just played the chords 1-3-5-3 over and over... even for the church choir... I never thought of doing what you just showed me... I literally became emotional at the music you were playing... thank you for showing me more possibilities...

  Astonishingly good. Here a 59 year old Univ. Professor that could play in 1,5 years melodies with the right hand but only chords with the left. Just starting, but the beauty from the melody forces you to repeat and repeat the movement with the left hand (because here is the melody). Wonderful

  I love gaining the understanding of how music is made, by relationships between the notes. While I have to &quot;embrace the boredom&quot; of scales and repeated exercises to build my facility, lessons like this make it SO much more interesting.

  Steve, I recently took up the piano (after playing the guitar for five years). OMG, I almost had a tear in my eye - I always loved &nbsp;my triads - &nbsp;but the simplicity, the beauty and application on piano has just opened up a new world. Thankyou Sir!
