  I was also born in 3rd generation on both sides of my fam. Dad was an elder, mom a reg pioneer. &nbsp;My wife was also born in, and we both woke up and left last year. 🎉<br><br>Thanks for sharing your story, and congrats on getting out and being free from they&apos;re mind control!

  I grew up in jw in the 90s and early 2000. That cult stole my childhood from me.

  My mother was very strict when it came to the teaching as well. She would always bring up, bad association spoils useful habits and not allow me to wear any clothing that had words or pictures and I couldn’t participate in sports. I fell away as a teenager but a year ago or so, I learned what the Bible really taught outside the JW organization and I was blown away. I pray for you brother. Whether if you’re still religious or not, Jesus will have a spot for you in Heaven if you believe he died for the sins of the world. Great video. I hope you have a wonderful day.

  Thanks for sharing your story. &nbsp;You expressed it very well and kept me interested. &nbsp;Its becoming ever so clear to me that Watchtower is under some sort of cult spirit or just flat out is a cult. &nbsp;Its so subtle and dangerous. &nbsp;I see how the organizations spirit effects people as individuals and families and how parents parent their children. I feel years ago when my daughter was a teen, I was harder on her than I should have been at times and held her back from extracurricular activities because I thought it was the right thing to do. &nbsp;I&apos;ve since apologized to her but I can&apos;t give her those years back, though I wish I could. <br><br>There &nbsp;is something very off balance with them and its getting worst. &nbsp;They treat the members like little children. &nbsp;I mean yes many of us are God&apos;s children but He absolutely did not want us to be weak, uninformed, scared little babes. &nbsp;Look at Jesus, he grew up to be not only kind, giving and caring but brave, outspoken, confident, wise and powerful. &nbsp; The organization is weakening its members, have watered down the bible via their personal translation and their literature. &nbsp;Their videos, child like, their way of speaking child like and their training the people to fight and understand what we are up against in this world as it is now, child like.<br><br>I too still agree with some of the things I&apos;ve learned but God helped me to see, per my request of Him, that it was time to move on. &nbsp;Sorry I went on a little rant there but glad you were able to see that it was time to go too.   And my family. It&apos;s too late for my dad and mom and one sister. All that&apos;s left is my VERY angry brother, and my holier than thou sister, and me, the only one who came to Jesus. At least I&apos;m healed! Thank you, Jesus!
