I now have access to 3 acres of private land with mixed habitat. This is the creative idea I was looking for. Many thanks.

I feed about 100 quail every evening at my home in Central Oregon. It is so wonderful to see them bring their little ones to eat the seed, but it’s gotten pretty expensive. I think I may have to sell my wife’s car to be able to continue feeding these large coveys. I’ve been searching YouTube for a video that explains how to break this kind of news to ones spouse. Love your videos, Roger.

this is GREAT, just the kind of thing I want to do for my back garden, ( the FIRST garden I have had after nearly 40 years ). I will have a great view from my kitchen window. I have LOTS of logs and twigs from overgrown trees which I have recently dealt with and I have been noticing how birds like to " potter about " and rummage around the twigs and logs so that in itself is good. It will be great to create a bird bath come pond kinda thing. Thankyou for this MARVELLOUS video tutorial....

Thank you. I’m too wobbly to trek miles anymore. This is a great idea for me. Much appreciated.

I have a fairly large bird bath in my garden. I went to a hobby store and bought a 1.5” dowel rod, flattened the ends so it sits level across the bath, than i decorated it with moss and other woodsy stuff for the birds to land on and it works pretty good with the trees and flowers behind it. I’ve managed to get some really good shots with that setup.
