"honest guide"<br>Get a hotel for 4 nights.<br>Rent a scooter for 4 days.<br>Ride around, aimlessly, until you find a apartment with a available apartment.<br>I just did that, last week, and got a nice studio for $220/month. A few blocks from the beach. My buddy did the same thing. Got a studio in a different area for $300/month.<br>No need to even look online. Everything online is already gone / fake.

Stayed there in Feb 2025 for 5 million Dong just a few min walk from the beach in My An, guess I was lucky. Stayed 3 months and after I left they raised in to 6 million. Was a good place too, not luxury but weel kept and quiet. A homestay. I did try Agents too but their pricing is way higher generally. I found the homestay by walking around and waling in.

2 years ago, Da Nang was great. Now, it's over rated. As you mentioned in your video, very hard to find a decent place to stay. Also, watch out for molds in rooms. Extremely noisy, from several sources, as you mentioned in your video. As a slow traveler, Da Nang was our favorite destination until our last visit. The sheer noise level and poor accommodations has geared us to other locals.

Will be staying in Dalat for 4-6 weeks then same in Nha Trang. May then try Da Nang. Sounds like the way to go is use booking or agoda? Might get lucky with an airbnb.
