Sorry to hear that you had to move. My An is a great expat neighborhood, hopefully you guys will be able to relax a bit in this new apartment. 😊

New place is way better. Although no outdoor space would not work for me. Looks good though.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll be there in March of 2026. It sounds like it's going to be interesting, finding a place.

Great tips. Just returned home to Australia after 3 weeks in Da Nang ( 1st time) and the noise is just as you described. Not a quiet peaceful place but loved it anyway.🌞

Your new place is huge compared to my last place in the Philippines. In Iloilo my condo was 22 square meters, 24 if you counted the balcony outside. I had a build out going on next door my last week, it wasn't great, Actually, no place I stayed in the Philippines was great. Where I was in Cebu City was 24/7 noise, either construction, machinery running, screaming drunks in the street outside a karaoke bar, something. My savior was noise canceling earbuds. Depending on the sound source, they would either cut it down to zero, or 10 percent of the sound. Throw in some music from Spotify and you are gold!

Did you say bugs and cockroaches are common in Vietnam? If so, I guess they don't spray for them. There are some pesticide sprays that keep them away for a year. And they work.
I have traveled around a bit, and one thing I just don't understand is the wet floor bathroom model. I do not care for it. But I have seen it a lot in different countries. I just prefer not to book those places.
Great video, though. Helpful information.
