I must say you feel comfortable living in Vietnam or Danang in particular because of your mindset. I can feel that you’re very open to the locals and you get a lot of respect and friendliness from them. You just fit right in.

I know Frank from volunteering at Jenny's English. I'm the same age, also from LA, and I love retirement in Vietnam for the same reasons. I've visited many countries. Vietnam offers foreigners a more socially connected way of life than most "retire abroad" hotspots. The only problem is exiting the country every 90 days, hoping Vietnam immigration will issue a new visa. Great channel and interview. Keep up the good work.

After watching this video, I got inspired by him. I lived in Da Nang for about 13 years before my family immigrated to the US about 7 years ago. My dream has always been to work hard, save, and invest enough that I could come back to my hometown and spend my retirement there.

I'm fortunate that I can live in the USA without financial stress, but still have too much emotional stress. The USA is utterly dysfunctional, angry, phony, loud, chaotic... If you are a kind, quiet, harmony seeking person the USA is a death sentence. I'm 59 and enough is enough here, and these kind of videos make it seem possible.
