  I've known three separate rich people in my life. All were major a-holes. One, a very intelligent surgeon, was buying an antique rifle when my mom was visiting him (he was really into hunting). And as he is holding the rifle, upward, with my mom standing next to him, it goes off. This happened right after he assured her it wasn't loaded. The shell from it went straight up through the roof, missing my mom's head by inches.

  The Nigerian Bride Dance Money Shower is a real thing 😂 The people were collecting the money for the bride and groom, everyone is supposed to shower her with money while a select few collected the money for her.

  I had a wealthy friend who was generally unpretentious and with few exceptions didn’t blow money. Turns out he worked for UPS and had worked his way from truck driver to C Suite, then cashed out on his stock when he retired. There were some specific things he splurged on, like a ventilated smoking room with leather walls, but often he used his money in ways that made others happy.

At least where I live, guests tap their glasses with cutlery to demand the couple stand and kiss. It is extremely common at weddings here, to the extent that if a couple don&apos;t wish to observe it, they must clearly communicate it to all guests before the meal is served. There are always a few guests who annoy the crap out of everyone by repeatedly trying anyway.

  The worst<br>thing you can do for anyone is let them think that the rules of life don&apos;t apply them. This applies to the super rich, the developmentally disabled, the popular and the unpopular. Almost everyone who has seen the inside of a jail cell or a prison got there because of a sense of entitlement or the rules don&apos;t &nbsp;apply attitude.

  I had the pleasure of turning down $ from a wealthy family for helping out my friends grandma after he moved from the area. They wanted to put me on the payroll and I told them you don&apos;t need to pay me to help out my friends family. They didn&apos;t know how to respond to my rejection of their money.

  My ex wife was a maid for a billionaire. He would go into the bathroom every morning and trash it. Like toothpaste everywhere. Would just drop the tube and cap on the floor in different directions, wouldn’t flush. Would expect to walk out and walk back in later and have it look like he had never been there, while demanding that he never actually saw the maid himself. Just expected the bathroom to be magically cleaned when he turned around without ever encountering the help.

  It’s called a spray, and yes it is a custom in Nigerian weddings 🇳🇬. And all the money is for the newlyweds, people just help pick it up

  I grew up in a very affluent area. &nbsp;I had one friend whos dad was worth $150 million . &nbsp;He owned several corporate parks and the building that housed his office had a parking garage under it. &nbsp;When we were 13 he took us to it and it was full of Ferraris. &nbsp;He let us each pick our favorite and then let us race them. &nbsp;The speed limit was 25 and we were doing 80&apos;s. &nbsp;A cop pulled up and tried to ticket us, her dad walked over and the cop said nevermind have fun. &nbsp;Crazy

  the money-throwing dance is indeed traditional. source: i’m igbo and have been to many traditional weddings, sometimes in the wedding party for a bride or groom, and i’ve seen the footage of my parents’ wedding back home
