I still have many of these items. I have kept them over the years. Been retired for 30 years and still use many of them today. You forgot about mukluk boots.

Artic mittens are a life, well actually hand/finger savers. I kept mine for 6 years in Germany along with a cold weather parka and liner. Replaced parka with an ECWS gortex and an M65 liner.

The military shit is designed to take anything you can throw at it. I know because I did for 8 years. I still wear my M-65 field jacket from the 80's. I have tossed countless North Fake, Crapagonia, the list goes on and on.

Weight on liner not issue, it’s the bulk

U.S. Army Multicam FR ICVC Coveralls are the best piece of military clothing since the M-65 Field Jacket. The ICVC Coveralls would be the perfect garment if they had pit and crotch zip vents, but even without them, they're still better than everything else.

The M65 is an excellent jacket and can be treated to shed water, (oilskin or plain wax treatment).

Looked for the book if it’s there I can’t find it in a printable form so what did I miss?

The lowest bidder made most all the surplus military gear. Most civilian made gear is actually a higher quality, but is more costly. I prefer the civilian made gear.
