  The most important thing is that the original is also available on modern platforms, which is not the case for some other remakes.

  For me, this definitely feels like an attempt to reboot MGS to confirm if  they should make more MGS games. I'm still hoping they remake the original MSX games, but that's going to take way more work than Delta

  I was so happy to see the Guy Savage segment return and fully remade by PlatinumGames since it wasn’t on the HD remasters of MGS.

  Would love them to recreate Metal Gear 1 &amp; 2 in this style. So we can get 3D versions of the original two titles. They could combine them into one game called Metal Gear Solid 0.

  I think Delta&apos;s placement on the series is like, easy jumping point to new players, it&apos;s the first game chronologically, one of the best regarded on the series in a modern package with a lot of modern flourishes, i recently got back to playing some ps2 era games and it&apos;s quite shocking how many of those games have some wildy different mappings for it&apos;s controls and a lot of people might be put off by this, so a remake can be a great way to expose new gamers to the series while testing the devs so they can make newer games in the series.

  As much as the new game looks pretty, I still think the original has much more dynamic and cinematic lighting even comparing it to Delta’s legacy lighting. The original look really enhances the experience. Delta’s not Sonic Adventure DX level bad but it is definitely a different take. As long as the original is still there to be experienced for future generations alongside Delta, I’ll be happy

  i personally say i want a remake of the OG games on the msx 2. imagine seeing YOUR snake, punished snake, finally going to his outer heaven with quiet in MG. or how big boss survived his improvised flamethrower used by snake in MG2. it would be awesome.

  In my opinion, the place Delta has in the series is this: It marks the moment when Metal Gear officially came back from the dead. For that, it will always be special to me in a way the original could never be.
