If you play in legacy mode, the start screen changes to the classic MGS3 where Snake CQCs the soldier.

You can catch a cold, yes but only in extreme circumstances.

I thought he has the mousetrap because he’s a cat. I like the foreshadowing theory though….

My most favorite banter with Paramedic is the glowing cap. It has two codec calls, first is before you eat it, she will joke to Snake about it being able to recharge battery by eating it, then after you eat it and it actually recharges battery, calls her again to get a funny skit.

You catch a cold by staying in Chyornyj Prud for 30+ minutes while using the Naked camo. 20 is not long enough.

14:14 This is a running joke in MGS series btw. Snake going in a cardboard box and bewildering his handlers has been a thing since MGS1 😂

 New Vs Legacy Style:
- Controls, camera, HUDs, codec references to that obviously (sad the Legacy only has the OG Snake Eater schematics, and not the Subsistence version as a bonus)
- Snake Eater plays different (New - Re-recording, Legacy - OG)
- Konami Code for The End (New - The End scolds you for every attempt; Legacy - idk if it is still for easier diffuclties only)
- The posters (New - current life ~where one is with their child~, Legacy - OG)
- Main Menu (New - locations based on progress, Legacy - the OG CQC visualizer)
- Paramedic Godzilla Anniversary (New - 2024, 70th anniversary in 60yrs; Legacy - 2004, 50th anniversary in 40yrs)

4:00 The sorrow is interesting, because not only does it catalog the enemies you killed, but how you killed them. From this specific one, to killing with a venomous snake or spider, to dropping a hornets nest near them, to even tranqing a soldier on the mountain and getting killed by a vulture
