Great video as always! Really useful for 3D printing. When you use cutting pliers to remove supports from prints, there are often remnants left behind or parts of the object end up breaking.

Looks like a useful tool that I have no use for!

The cut-resistant finger condoms are made of kevlar. You can get kevlar gloves doing the same job in professional butchery. Some other things it needs - molded grips to make it harder for your fingers to slip and an activation trigger to turn it of when you're not holding it to actually cut. As you demonstrated in the video several times, you put it down and do other things and it keeps running invisibly.

I'm not sure what to think of this. It seems to be a cumbersome unit.  It should have a momentary push button that turns the ultrasound off when you release it. I would like it to clean up supports on my 3d prints, but I don't feel the value is there. Good review Jane.

I use a lot of scalpel blades and the thought of that thing moving at 40khz.... I can't imagine those blades staying sharp after just a few minutes

Definitely in agreement with the other folks here who have mentioned that this should require that the button/trigger remain depressed in order to function. It's an intriguing tool, but this is something that needs to be addressed. Also agreed on the button placement being too easy to accidentally push when working. I look forward to what the next generation of these tools bring.

A wooden board can make a good base. It is neither too hard nor too soft.

This device reminds me of my most recent teeth cleaning, conducted by the dental hygenist, in my dentist's office. The device emits the same ultra-high frequency sound during operation. It certainly does not equate to a "pleasant" sound to me due to the similarity to my experiences in the dental hygenist's chair. A pass for me.

76 quid at the moment Jazz.  Perhaps a chainmail glove is the better option?  Be good for scoring pork for the crackling😂
