Try creating a web plugin for Orca. No changes to the website will be required, and it will continue to work with the same logic. The plugin will enable easy interaction with the slicer and allow you to edit the model directly in the original program and place it directly on the plate for slicing. This will attract many more users to your development.

I use CAD software a lot. I'm not PRO good but I have a fairly decent knowledge of it. adding these fins in manually is a pain. they work but it is such a huge time saver to have a system that'll do it for you. The 3D printing world thanks you. Have a great day

Were was this 6 months ago! This is exactly how I manually add support in CAD. Definitely the best method if you can tilt your part to 45 degrees which isn't always possible.

Ha! I also started doing this because of Slant3D, once he showed the fins I started modeling them into my parts and it was a PITA so I stopped... LOL going to use your tool now, thank you!!!!
