We are half of the population. Why isn’t funding given to us. And people say this world isn’t patriarchal

It's difficult to get the what we need. After an hour visit with my GYN I had no plan or next steps even after going through the list of all my symptoms and  steps I'm taking with diet and body recomp. Just  a bill for $180 and told we can talk again. I was told that blood work was pointless to nail down if this is really peri. I'm  47 and my blood work is good. And I'm down 40 lbs. Then my general practitioner says talk to your GYN and just keep up the diet and exercise to get my blood work really good. People don't have extra funds to keep up with these talk visits and no steps to work on or help with symptoms and prevention. So frustrating. Our health is our future freedom.

I’m SO grateful that my GP and OB/GYN are women who have done the extra learning to best serve their patients. They are always open to my questions based on what I am learning from Dr. Haver and Dr. Wright. I always feel seen and listened to, as I refuse to suffer. As a life long athlete, functioning at an optimal level is my focus.💪

52 year old woman here, peri menopause wasn’t talked about when I was in my 30’s; today’s 20 years olds will get better information regarding the menopause xx

Great topic. I wish  Dr. Haver didn't always interrupt Dr. Vonda Wright as she's trying to get her question out.

Thanks so much for discussing progesterone intolerance.  I started with the Combi patch and had no issues.  I switched to an estradiol only patch and oral progesterone.  I started having mood and anxiety issues.  I switched back to the progestin in the Combi patch and am feeling much better.  Thanks so much for all the information you share!

I'm post Meno at 49 yrs old and peri according to Function Health.  I had my partial hysterectomy in my mid 30's and of course Function Health did tons of blood work. I went insane for at least a decade and I look back and can not wrap my brain around the things I've done. 🙃 Now I'm getting back on the patch (hope I do not get dizzy and have to get off again) because I need it I can't remember anything, my stomach is huge like my bio mother, my cholesterol and triglycerides are so high! Like who am I? I was diagnosed bi polar mid 30's too. My depression is actually worse.  I'm hoping the patch works for me again and the feeling dizzy doesn't come back. I also had bad postpartum 2 days after giving birth. ❤ Also ladies, we aren't going to look like these  2 ladies without poisonous injections of botox (cdc warning) or face lifts at their age. So please friends, do not get down on yourself when you are 55 and have real wrinkles! Ok! ❤

Thank you for sharing your gifts and talents with us all and making the world a better place!  I am a 59 year old woman, taking estradiol, progesterone and testosterone, athletic and active until the last 6 months.  Please talk about how fallen arches are more common in menopausal women and how to prevent this for young women. 🙏🏽
