I moved from US to France 3 months ago. Have lost 15lbs so far — and all while drinking wine and eating bread and cheese. Yes, 10K+ steps a day, lots of stairs and noticeably higher quality food are all the major contributing factors. Vegetables and fruits actually taste like something here.

You know what I'd really like to see? A video about Tyler's first trip to Europe, where he gets to experience stuff he's been reacting to in all of these videos. Make it happen! ❤🎉

Walking is normal. The human body is made for walking.

It's normal to feel better when you stop consuming chemicals and start eating healthily.

Dinner at a restaurant in Europe can easily take two hours.

Regarding the relaxed dining out etc. There's a ton of Americans whinging online because they have to wait more than 2 minutes for a waiter, and then are disgruntled when the properly-paid waiters don't fawn over them like needy puppies in hopes of a treat. The same mindset will also blame the digestive differences on Europe being 'poor' and primitive. Because, it's not the American way, therefore it's wrong.

I was on a train last week going to London with my sister and we sat next to an American who was going back to the U.S after a year in the U.K. He gave us his last two cans of diet coke because he had just given his hire car back and couldn't take them to the airport with him. We got chatting and he told us that since being here he had stopped taking medications like ibuprofen and a multitude of vitamins. He had lost weight and felt so much better because he had done a lot of walking and was eating normal food. He was going to miss those things the most.😊

You’re frowning over breaking new shoes in.  That tells me you’ve never done that, which means you rarely walk, otherwise you would know all about blisters and sore feet!  I learned that lesson when I was five!

The look of confusion on your face when he said you need to break in your shoes tells me you have no idea what he means

If America was still a friendly country, I might go over there and start a Tourists' Boot Camp.  The curriculum would include how to walk for hours at a steady pace without rushing, how to speak without bothering people on the other side of the street, the benefits of learning a few key words and phrases in the local language, how to relax for a couple of hours while sitting in a cafe or restaurant enjoying tea and cakes, how to enjoy real coffee instead of whatever concoction your local Starbucks has been foisting on you, correct tipping etiquette for the country or countries that you're visiting, why you should always carry local currency instead of US Monopoly money, how to reduce your luggage down to a single suitcase per person without feeling underdressed, why you shouldn't bother renting a car, why you don't need to be afraid of ambulances and hospitals if you're sick or injured, why the US Constitution doesn't apply where you're going, and why nobody cares about your ancestry.  I'd probably clean up.

I've seen a video of a man who now lives in Scotland who says that he gets sick every time he goes back to the USA to visit family and he knows it's the food. He is not the only person who has talked about the freshness of food and the lack of additional ingredients, mostly chemical, in European and UK products. Americans that are in the UK for any length of time also lose weight and don't get bloating. Also another video today mentioned that this person just realised that he isn't taking the medication he used to in the USA. Ibruprofen, Pepto Bismol, supplements. Everything is a hustle culture in the USA, fast paced in work, at meals, in the UK, we do not hustle people out of restaurants and there isn't a language barrier.
