Great video Jonathan! I love the Dopamine Diary idea. I also have dabbled in the logging system (Interstitial journaling). It's a great way to see how your day progresses and where there are lulls and blocks where time is wasted. My 'Bullet Journal' system is baked in my daily To-Do List pocket notebook. I've always wanted to get deeper into that practice, but I feel what I have works just fine for me. That's what counts in the end. I do need to get better at indexing so I can easily find things in my notebooks. But, I am impressed at how organized and disciplined you are! And as I've commented in a previous video, your artistic ability is envied! Wow. Great drawings. You are an inspiration Jonathan!

I'm more of a mixed media artist than a writer. It's very interesting to me to see how you take the time to document your life. Thinking of it as a gift to yourself is lovely. I started drawing/writing something every day since January 01, 2026. Some days I write a lovely quote, some days I paint a landscape or still life. Now I will consider it a gift to myself. Thank you for the inspiration.

thanks for sharing these - new to your channel and enjoying. I am doing some daydreaming and looking at various styles for my 2027 journal line up. Researching Interstitial journaling which, is so similar to your time tracker - it's an interesting exercise. I do a happiness tracker that's similar to the dopamine journal as well. I am an "every morning before anything else journaler" too - create before I consume is my saying (consume means screens, coffee is allowed) :) Happy to have found your space.
