The actor who plays Marty is actually absolutely positively yolked to high heaven, so they had to have him just sit around and wear a shirt during the swimming in the lake scene. He was in better shape than Hemsworth supposedly.

I bleieve The makers wanted Sigourney Weaver to play the role she did but did not think she would ever accept a role that is only in the movie for 10 minutes or so. When they sent her the script and heard the ideas that they had, she instantly jumped at it. She loved every moment of it. She took a picture with the werewolf, she was so giddy about it.

The gods are basically US "THE VIEWERS"

When we are pleased, they make sequels

If we're not, they stop and that particular universe basically ends

My FAVORITE trope: Denise showing Ari a horror movie he's never seen and constantly breaking the fourth wall by looking at AND laughing with us 🤭😄❤

i was always confused how the girl in a long stable relationship was made as the "slutty party girl" and the girl sleeping with her professor was the "virgin"😂😂

I like the theory that the Virgin was actually Marty (he couldn't be the fool, he saw through every horror trope) and Dana was the Fool (reading the Latin at the start, letting the zombies in the house, getting in a relationship with her teacher in the first place) and they mixed up their roles due to some corporate foul-up.

Meaning Sigourney would have inevitably sabotaged the ritual at the end anyways, such a poignant end that way, proving that the ends don't always justify the means. Eventually they were not going to be able to deliver and if this was the best solution we can muster, then maybe humanity doesn't deserve to go on.

One of my favorite theories revolves around the "chem department in '98". The theory is that the movie The Faculty exists within this universe because what stopped the alien invasion was Zeke's drugs that he sold at school.
