A little background on yautja culture. Njohrr is actually considered a dishonorable bad blood. 1) Regardless of size, young yautja are still permitted a first hunt to prove strength. 2) During combat, Njohrr would you his cloaking when out matched, which is considered a cowardly tactic. 3) He murdered a loyal son.

He violated all 3 and a few other traditions, which in yautja culture make him a piece of shit

The father didn’t even follow the predator codex, he wanted the brother to kill him in his sleep and also didn’t honor his hunt. Dude was making his own rules

As Dek look at Kwei's mask, he regard his brother as a wolf because he protected him and now he's a wolf to protect his clan.... that's my take at least

Both in Prey and Badlands, the older brothers final words are all " Bring it home".

I’m not sure if you guys noticed, but there’s a pretty cool Easter egg hidden on the trophy wall in the ship. It’s the skull of the alien from Independence Day! Dan Trachtenberg confirmed that it was a nod to the film! 🤯

I actually found it kinda interesting and sweet that Dek doesn't seem to dislike how much Thia talks. During her ramblings I was expecting him to constantly tell her to shut up but he only really did when he was trying to hunt. I wonder if it's strictly cuz he values the infodumping, or maybe he doesn't get much socialization besides his brother... poor guy.

Love that Dek only really wanted her to be quiet when it was time to hunt/kill. He didn't mind her talking as much as she did.

 ”Yautja are prey to none.”
That’s one powerful sentence.
