  My one tip is DONT SELL QUARTZ. Fish traps are seriously useful, and carnivore food is harder to get than herbivore; you can run around the town fishing and only net a dozen fish, maybe, or you can set 6 traps and get roughly 12 passively. It's so helpful

  here is a tip, if you decided to go mining near the night, keep mining until around 11.45. immediately press the menu button and save and exit. Once you do that, upload your save file and you will find yourself at your home. that way you can get the maximum yield from your mine and not get exhausted the next day.

  I clean out the root cellar just before the defenders ration.  I leave the stuff about to spoil in and they essentially clean my fridge for me.

  I've never played a game that made me so tense my neck hurt afterwards. Its great fun, but wow does it press my buttons something fierce, leaving me incredibly stressed. one tip? Prioritize upgrading the pickaxe first. The faster you get that thing max, the faster you get access to the majority/all of the ores/gems/stones, which in turn unlocks a lot of QoL stuff like upgraded sprinklers. The pickaxe is the only tool whos upgrades cascade into every other upgrade. And dont be afraid of spending your gold on the ores the Smith sells.

  For tooling upgrades, always keep enough money and bars for your watering can upgrade. wait until percy say there is a rain tmr and finish watering your garden. Once that is done go to gruff the blacksmith and you will get the watering can upgrade. This will ensure your crop is watered and you get a new can asap. this willl reduce your energy expenditure during early game

  the best skill to pick at the beginning, courier for profession. This one give you speed which if vital if you want to get things done. on the first, focus on cutting all the maple trees in the forest and village. this will get you the log station from rowan the carpenter. there you will get your first skill which should always be cardio which gives you an extra 20 stamina. if you have some spare energy left. go to the mire and try fishing all the fish. you might get lucky and get the siberian sturgeon which will no longer be available until 27 fall. the next day focus on fishing to get the rest of your fish for adeline research quest. If you are lucky, you might catch more than one gold fish which is gives a lot of money.

Ngl They’ve been extremely helpful since I don’t need to spend fuel to smoke food and lets me rush irrigation and reach the iron pickaxe before day 20. <br><br>Also, a little trick is to hard focus getting the pipes instead pf actual pumps. You can literally just activate the pump for, dismantle it, and then place it at another spot to water everything again. This is lowkey broken because you get to mine even more(game should be called mine shire tbh).

  another way to greet all npc in the shortest amount of time, when you wake up, do not tend to your farm first. head to the village and go to each house to greet the npc. from hawthorn to fishery first, then to the mayor office. you can greet percy and ask the weather &nbsp;if he leave the mayor office first that way. afterwards go to the wolf father and son. then go to the tavern to greet the goat family. Afterwards, go to manor to greet madeline and then go to furniture shop to greet the rabbit family. Afterwards go to the temple to greet the stag and the bakery to greet the mouse. By then, go to the herbalist to greet percy. he will not be there in the summer in the morning for summer so you may greet him last. After all village npc is greeted, go to the forest. If you are fast enough, you can greet kai in the forest otherwise he will be in the mountain. go greet gruff at the blacksmith before going to greet willow who will be outside near the carpenter shop. you can find tano at the near there too. logan, the wolf son will be there as well if you do not greet him yet. once that is done, go to greet the fox carpenter at his shop. This will allow you to greet everyone before 10 if you choose courier

  if you are a completionist, here are some few tips if you want to get all the critters, fish and mining ore. go for the alheep barn first as the first alheep will spawn very early at spring 6, if you mine enough you should have the gold and material before then. then the grittle pen for the next grittle which will spawn spring 15. if you have the money before spring 15 to do both, get the bluggy pen first &nbsp;as you will need to cath 2 different bluggy beore summer. Once all that is done go for chikree whose only product is honey which will be useful for midgame so not that important in early game. <br><br>Fishing, try to fish all the spots in grimshire in your first week. you should be able to catch all the fish before they expire. check your collection to see if there are any fish which is about to expire first and focus on those area. you can use wiki if you want to where to catch them. <br><br>Best way to get all the mines by mid summer, focus on finding the stairs. by the time you find it you should have a decent haul of ores and stone. Before a previous update, none ore items are quite difficult to mass due to stamina expenditure but later update allow you to get non ore items in ore veins. sell your extra non ore items (but not too much, you will need stone and clay for the first 2 projects). each stack could get you 396 coins which is a good early game source of money if you want to save up on quartz. Get enough money to upgrade your pickaxe until titanium which will unlock your last mine. This one is a money farm as you can get gold ore and mithril ore (the latter is only useful for last tier tool upgrade) which you can sell the extra for coins.
