  I think one thing missing from all these advice vids is that... Once a available... INVEST in fermentation barrels. Because it's a fantastic way to start laying in for winter early and saving food that would otherwise spoil. Dry/smoke everything, put in storehouse. Take back OUT of storehouse half to 2/3 the way through the spoilage time and ferment it. Saved so many herbs and fruits going to waste this way.

  I'm so happy you made this video. I really enjoyed your playthroughs, but would often fall asleep to them and miss certain events. I struggled in places with my own first playthrough of the game and have been wanting to do a second one with some of the content updates. This helps <3

  This is so good - I didn't realise you could get resources from shaking trees other than when they're fruiting. Also, I'm embarrassed I didn't think of just reusing the irrigation pump - I have spent so much copper making them :').

  I recently found out that you can make herbivore food into omnivore food by making honeyed fruit skewers or other cooked recipes. In case you're short on one food type but have a surplus of the other. And some honey or other omnivore food like cheese. I haven't played challenge or grim yet so idk how useful this is for harder difficulties. It helped when i had a lack of carnivore food as a carnivore player and had way too many dried fruits in the spring of my first (casual) playthrough, though. (Still learning the game, lol.)
