Future Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page played the electric lead guitar on Donovan's 1966 hit "Sunshine Superman. "He worked alongside future bandmate John Paul Jones, who played bass on the track.

Donavan. One of the strangest artists of The British Invasion. The 60s was a happier more "sunshiny" time to be alive.

"Wear Your Love Like Heaven" is a good one, also "Jennifer Juniper". Donovan is a legend of the late sixties.

No one who was part of the British music scene in the '60s was cooler than Donovan Leitch.<br>He even counseled the Beatles.

My dad's mother was born in 1894. She lived with us when I was in my late teens.

I like the Season of the Witch by Donavon. Steven Stills covers it on Super Session. You would like it Erica.
