Canada has had over 50 years to build infrastructure, most of those years under Liberal government. Nothing is going to happen. Carney will only enrich himself.

I like how he doesn't mention the tariffs imposed by Canada for years against the USA, allowing Canada to have a trade surplus, while the USA had a trade deficit. <br>That the USA primarily was looking for a more fair/level playing field, add that to their reluctance to pay 2% of GDP for NATO for defense of their own country.

The free trade agreement between Canada and the EU took 10 years to negotiate, and was blocked by Walloonia, since any agreement must be unanimously approved. <br>Good luck getting an "Associate Membership" status during my lifetime! And by then, the EU will probably fall apart.
