  I personally love the AZ 100's. I had the older AZ 80's for the past 3 years before they finally crapped out on me. I went ahead and got the AZ 100's and they sound fantastic. The key is to adjust and setup the EQ settings for the style of music you like to listen to. My hope is that the AZ 100's last as long as my AZ 80's did. Three years is a nice run when you use earbuds as hard as I do.

  I just got them, the first buds where I didn't feel the need to touch the EQ, nor did the bass boost feel necessary. Sounds at least as good as my headphones out of the box.

  I was specifically waiting for your review on these. I almost exclusively listen to rock and you guys were the only ones to mention the issue with sound on the AZ80s. Thank you!

  I keep adjusting the volume digging with trying to find a setting that doesn’t bite my ears at times when the recording kicks in a voice or instrument solo or introduction some part of the recording. I think I hear more details on the 100 ‘s then on my AirPods but I’m willing to sacrifice the details for the smoothness of the AirPods. But maybe it’s my old ears. Who really knows. I love all kinds of music. Blues, jazz,classical and rock. Not sure heavy metal is meant for the AZ100 ‘s.

  Thanks for the honest review.. I got the AZ100 last week, used it for a day after update and Honestly was super disappointed and immediately returned them back. The sound signature isn’t as expected or matching the hype around it! The connection with my phone (iPhone 16 pro) keeps disconnecting and weirdly whenever it’s connected Apple CarPlay won’t work! And I noticed a clear sound lag with videos (it’s very noticeable) <br>I’m not sure how these rated as the best. Back to my Soundcore 4 pro which for me still the best 👌

  Ok, at least on Android with the Power Amp EQ app, which is a freaking game changer to all 10+ buds I&apos;ve tried, using the parametric EQ to boost 3500 +7-9, and drop 350hz -4, totally fixed the metal bite problem, and the muddy bass problem for me; but it has additional awesome post processing stuff going on that brings the life out of everything too. The only other problem now is that some other rare songs have a thin or harsh mid feel, but I can have an EQ profile adjusted just for those if I&apos;m being picky. Otherwise, now these sound amazing and have all those complete package features to boot making them my daily drivers, and one of my buds with the fewest weaknesses. <br><br>Only the slightly rough but bulletproof mic from the AI implementation is somewhat annoying. The Freebuds Pro 4&apos;s mic is even more bulletproof while also sounding great still, so I have them as my back up. Using the BOSE QC 2024 when I don&apos;t want to have to deal with the mid issue when I&apos;m just going for enjoyment, but so far I rarely use them anymore cause the AZ&apos;s are making the cut still now. No bud is truly the complete package yet it seems, one day, one day. With these tweaks these are the closest I&apos;ve seen. JBL Tour Pro 3 look good, but the case! Uggg. Love your reviews! Tier S.

  The AI voice has been a game changer for me at work. I work in a very noisy environment, and I&apos;m often on the phone with other technical advisors who appreciate the fact that they can&apos;t hear all the machinery in the background. I suffer from tinnitus. However, these earbuds sound amazing to me, as I listen to mostly Ludovico Einaudi and classic rock. I did purchase a set of Comfy ear tips to replace the silicone ear tips. Doing this actually enhance the sound dramatically enough that I can lower the volume and still get an amazing amount of clarity and detail. I love them!
