Having the bass driver from 10 Hz to 10 kHz is a very interesting choice and can definitely explain the lack of precision. If you have a dedicated bass driver, but then have it go up to 10khz, it kind of defeats the entire purpose of the dedicated bass driver. It’s closer to a full range speaker with a low pass filter at 10k than a dedicated bass driver (which would still have a low pass filter but much much lower than 10k). I would have capped it around 200hz for a true “bass driver” (like a subwoofer). I understand the frequency overlap needed between all the drivers so in this situation they’d likely do something like 10hz-2khz to allow the mid driver a reasonable starting point without having to add a whole new driver to allow a true subwoofer driver. I just think that calling it a dedicated bass driver at this point isn’t very accurate.

  Honestly a Nothing laptop would look insane if they ever did it. I know he’s acknowledged that it wouldn’t happen anytime soon, but the design language for a more desktop aimed line up would be awesome
