I tested the JBL Tour Pro 3 and also calling tests. Here’s my verdict:

What I like about the JBL Tour Pro 3:
- Feels very premium and fit good.
- The sound quality (music) is great.
- There are lot of option to adjust EQ.
- Also there are other bunch of options but to be honest I won’t use them.
- From the case you can adjust many things, like volume, EQ, own background picture, ANC, etc.
- Battery level is above average
- ANC is good

What I don’t like on the JBL tour Pro 3:
- The case is very big compared to other earbud brands.
- The earbuds are going in opposite place in the case compared to AirPod Pro 1.
- I don’t like when I put them into my ear to hear “connected” and when I switch to ANC or another option.
- Call tests ain’t so good as AirPods pro 1 and here’s why;

I tested calls with someone. I didn’t say which one was using. First I put the JBL TP3. I spoke couple of sentences and repeat them twice.
Then I used the Airpods Pro 1 (which I want to get replaced with new earbuds). The call quality that I heard of the person who was hearing me said that the second ones (AirPods pro 1) are slightly better but they ain’t bad.

Now here’s what my really suprised the final test:

I whispered when I talked. Speaking with the JBL TP3 the person couldn’t hear me when I whisper.
When I whisper talk with the AirPods p1 the person could hear me very good.

I read and saw many reviews that the JBL TP3 are so great etc etc, sound quality, call quality is great.
I tested it myself and I am going to return the JBL TP3 to the store and will get Airpods p3.

This is my objective review and to be honest the videos on youtube doesn’t give real image of the earbuds.

Test it yourself is my free advice!

Got the JBL tour pro 2 for a few months now, love them. Preferred them to the AirPod Pros. Thought the case screen would be a gimmick, but it’s actually very useful! And the ANC function worked very well on a long haul flight the other week.

Thank you very much, Aaron! You do a great job. I’ve been waiting for Tour Pro 3 review for quite a while. Now I see they sound more comfortable than these other popular models in high frequencies. One thing I doubt is that Airpods Pro are comparable to JBL by sound. I used budget neckband JBL e25bt for 5 years and then bought airpods pro 2. And I think Airpods’ sound is less pleasant, especially for rock music. Less energetic and a little bit painful in high frequencies. I suppose airpods are not even close to these JBL. We’ll see. And the case with a display for sure can be useful while listening to music from pc.
