I genuinely want to thank the archivists at ITN for doing such a great job preserving all of this footage.

A close friend of mine who served in the Marine Corps for over ten years and fought in Iraq and Afghanistan took his own life when he came back home due to PTSD. He will always be in our hearts. He was betrayed by our own criminal government. Shame on them!

War is ugly. the saddest part of it, the most affected, are innocent people, these politicians will be enjoying in Monaco whilst innocent people are dying.

for those of a younger generation watching this I'd like to remind them that ITN and their journalists have been sending back reports from the front lines for decades!!!

My uncle was a turret gunner on a Humvee during Fallujah. He doesn't ever speak about his experiences during the battle, and I don't pry, but the few times he spoke with my dad about it, the recurring theme was that he has no idea how he wasn't killed or even wounded by gunshot during the fighting. Nothing sentimental at the end here, just sharing what I've heard of his experience.

I was born in 🇬🇧 the UK but my dad is American so I’m dual citizenship and grew up in Long Island New York. I applied to get in for the first gulf war because I wanted to be apart of the country who took me and my Mom in and made us citizens. I’m very proud to see our countries working together . The Brits may not have the size of military that we have but they fight hard.
Salute to both servicemen and service women in both countries.
I won’t thank you for your service that sounds so ingenious but I salute both my birth county and my home and county that took me and my mom in thanks to my dad being an 82 airborne American.
Salute to both and any other country helping us fight terror.
