  shoutout to the fact that jimmy's crimes are never explicitly stated throughout the dlc, as well as curly being the only mouthwashing character that shows up explicitly, almost paralleling the fact that Jimmy, despite everything that happens, continues to think that Curly is the only one he wronged, ignoring and refusing to acknowledge the other crew members and the harm he caused them

  The eye things (actually lotus roots) saying “you’ll be back” is a reference to how you, the player, are definitely playing through again to try the other ending, hence returning to the room.

  Apparently, mouthwashing has an in universe book called "up or down." I personally interpret the events of the game to be the book, and the dlc to take place in curly's mind, using the book as a setting

  In terms of fish, there's a huge amount of evidence that suggests that fish, do, in fact, feel pain. Neuroscience and biology show us that some species of fish pass the mirror test, have rich social lives, and exoerience the world in many ways we cannot even imagine. Fish show goal directed behavior, valenced states, complex communication and mating behavior, etc.

  I like how the colour of down/up changes<br>the colour blue gives a feeling of safety as if it is right, and it changes right when you are introduced a new idea along with it. I think it makes it more likely you wont stick with your first answer

  I feel like the louse and the tongueless fish is a (very vague) reference of Jimmy and Curly. As Curly, after the accident, is unable to speak and Jimmy (the parasite) speaks for him and effectively… takes over the role of Curly

  I do believe the two fish are a representation of daisuke and swansea, and the link between the second fish and daisuke is bigger than you&apos;d think once you think about it. The fish talks about how it was never meant to be there, possibly alluding to how daisuke was a last minute addition to the crew and therefore not given a cryo pod. The fish also says that it misses the previous choice it had, even if it was scary. In the scene where daisuke is drunk venting he mentions his mom chose the internship for him because he was never good at anything and had no idea what to do with his life - the choice of a career path scared him. Finally, the fish&apos;s lines where it says &quot;nothing can stop us if we&apos;re together! you&apos;re just like me, take me with you&quot; could have two different meanings. First, the friendship between daisuke and jimmy (see: the yimpy post it, and how jimmy is kinder to daisuke than to the rest of the crew), or second, which i think is more likely, the way daisuke needed an older mentor&apos;s guidance and depended on swansea and jimmy. I also like your theory about the two sides of jimmy&apos;s ego though!! this was a great video analysis and i like how you simplified the meaning of how fish is made because i didn&apos;t understand it at first XD

  I dont think Curly is a filthy monster on par with Jimmy.. cause hes not, but its frustrating thinking of how easily he could have stopped everything. You’d expect him to do better. Youd expect the guy with your life in his hands to do better. Anya told Curly what happened because she trusted him as a friend, an equal, but it clearly wasn’t really mutual seeing how he just left her hanging alone and knew the whole time.
