  Hey, sorry I forgot to make a pinned comment for the audio cutting out in the &quot;Night Walk&quot; segment. Here&apos;s the excerpt from my community post:<br><br>&quot;I woke up to a copyright claim for a song I used in my Local58 video, which was actually also used in the series itself. I had to mute the beginning of the &quot;Night Walk&quot; section in order to maintain monetization status, as I&apos;d much prefer not to reupload the video entirely. Sorry for that, these things just happen! I&apos;ve actually been rather lucky with copyright over the past few years, so I&apos;m not worried about it.&quot;

  So I&apos;ve heard a lot of people question why the Show For Children would be on at four on the morning. Its actually a super cool detail. Back in the 80s and 90s, stations like Local 58 would play educational programs on really early, with the intention that schools would record them on VCR for playback later that day when the kids were there. That way the shows weren&apos;t aired during regular hours because no one would pay for advertising during that time, so the educational programming would have no commercial breaks for a teacher to navigate.

  The fact the driver ran away in the first clip means that he was completely in control of his actions and, willingly, decided to drive down some back ass road, come to a stop, turn off the headlights, and wait.<br>Honestly what a guy. Natural selection at work.

  Random thing about Show For Children, When Cadavre dies to the moon, he&apos;s in the &quot;Freedom Position&quot; described in the earlier broadcast. Arms spread, legs mostly together, staring upwards.

  I watched Local58 while it was still coming out, and all these years later, the sentence &quot;This message will repeat until there are none to read it&quot; is something I think about regularly.

  the first episode is SOO GOOD!!! I love how uncanny it is that as whatever&apos;s behind the driver gets closer, the gps says that their destination is &quot;in 50 feet&quot;, &quot;behind them&quot;, and finally &quot;you have arrived&quot;

  I didn&apos;t realize how much of an impact Local58 had on my psyche, until when I was working a night shift job at a diner. It was in a more appalachian/rural city so while populated, the town was sparse.<br> On my 20 minute drives home between 2-3 am, there would be nobody on the road except for me, and sometimes in that isolated darkness of the woods and country roads, the moon would be bright and full. <br>And yeah of course I know that this is all 100% fictional, but the concept of Local58 and the Moon looking down on me alone at night, following, it was a chilling feeling of, &apos;man, this would be terrifying if I was being watched.&apos;

  I think the “predator” quote is referring to the fact the moon doesn’t differentiate between its followers and prey, they’re all the same to a being such as it

  I think my favorite thing about local 58 is how abstract and unclear it is. It&apos;s not eager to explain itself or lay out the rules of its threat. The one thing we know is that looking at the moon is bad. So many analog horrors are trying so hard to explain in excruciating detail how their &quot;unique monster&quot; works. But local 58 shows you this unclear, vague threat and simply tells you &quot;don&apos;t look at the moon&quot;

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NuAzv-gm90&amp;t=4040">1:07:20</a> I think the quote &quot;a predator cannot differentiate between prey and accomplice&quot; might be a connection to the first video and the cult. The creatures do not know which humans are the &quot;good&quot; ones, the worshipers, and which are not. So they attack all of them. The first video could be a cult member since they are blindly following the GPS to the creature and they are the one who unfortunately learns that lesson.
