I adore Jo Brand. She’s so compassionate but also straight to the point.

I have been on antidepressants for the best part of 30 years. Without them I would not be here writing this

New found respect for Jamie. You’ve come a long way from Made in Chelsea. And Jo Brand; just always utterly adored her.

I agree with Jo when she says about giving money to people on the street. My grandson 9 at the time and granddaughter who was 6 were in the car with me when we were stopped at a red light and a guy was begging. I handed him a couple of dollars. My granddaughter said it was a nice thing to do. My grandson said I shouldn’t give him money because he would only spend it on beer. My response was if a person is so desperate they have to beg for money then at least they will get relief from their despair when they’ve had a beer or two. Walk in someone else’s shoes before you judge them.

Many experienced interviewers could take a leaf from Jamie's book. He is kind, funny and respectful. You relate with your own experiences and tap into the person you are interviewing with great maturity. Jo Brand is a wealth of knowledge with an enduring personality that is so honest but she doesn't take fools gladly. Well done xxx

What a great interview, Jamie's energy is infectious and Jo was very interesting - I could spend hours with her and there's not many I could say that about! I'd love to see a documentary on her explanations of mental health and how it can be misunderstood, something I have been thinking for a long time.

Why does Jo always calm me when I listen to her. 7 years and she still is such a joy for me to listen to.

Being a whistle-blower is hated...and puts you out of a job. Respect...don't change.

Jo is so wise .. people dont understand the nuance /spectrum of mental health.. there are aspects of it that are not discussed and remain stigmatised .

Jamie is a brilliant interviewer.
I wish he'd had more support as a kid ..

Jo Brand is a treasure, and it was lovely to hear her speak of her life, and the wealth of experience, and compassion, she has for the human condition. Brought to mind her series Getting On, which I used to really enjoy. Good one Jamie.
