  The worst thing "This morning" ever did was get rid of Ruth , Ive never watched it since, I think she fabulous and very down to earth.

  Yay I'm the first to hype.  I loved this, please everyone remember 'you are enough'.  My husband died when he was 33 suddenly, we had an 11 month old and Six year old and a mortgage, in those days there was no help but a widows pension.  I found out a lot about myself, I'm resilient, responsible, resourceful and a woman, who'd of thought it.  When you are on your own the decisions you make are yours alone, if you know yourself they will be the right ones for you. I'm 82 now and an artist.

  Many years ago my young son called me from his playroom to say there was an old lady looking through the window. I dashed outside and immediately realised she was confused and lost. I instantly knew I had to make her feel safe and said oh I’ve been expecting you, come in the house for a cup of tea! She was so excited to feel welcome. After a while chatting I managed to get enough information about her family and locate her son. She had dementia. I allowed her to lead the conversation. By the time she left she had offered to babysit my daughter who is severely disabled. ❤

  Two years ago I called time on my 55 year marriage. I am  now free of mental and physical abuse and his alcoholism  but it cost me my family because I burst their happy bubble. Completely alone at age 76.

  I think Ruth was completely over shadowed by her husband. Now she can shine in her own light.

  Firstly with such a soulful voice Ruth should have a podcast of her own (there&apos;s an idea for you, Ruth!) and secondly I&apos;d just like to commend her for the dignified way she has handled the breakdown of her marriage. &nbsp;So many celebrity/famous couples take great pleasure in slating one another in public - never a nice thing to do - but Ruth has kept her counsel and dealt with it privately and with great dignity. &nbsp;I hope her life gets better and better and that eventually the arrow of love strikes her again. &nbsp;And Fearne too - what a lovely woman she is. x

  It is so comforting to see a woman of substance like Ruth. &nbsp;She is so real. &nbsp;What a lovely woman. &nbsp;I wish her thousands of sunshine. &nbsp;She is a gem.

  I can’t believe how much she’s had to deal with and is still dealing with, she’s amazing. She comes across as such a lovely, thoughtful, caring &amp; compassionate person.

  My sister committed suicide 12 years ago, I loved her dearly and miss her every day. The only way I cope is by believing that she didn’t want to be here and is now in the place where she really wanted to be. Sending love x
