'We are owed centuries of research'. What a powerful line.

50 year old woman here. Thank you for having this discussion. It’s insane how little we know even now about women’s health.

I’m glad Gen X is smashing the door down and insisting on HRT. It is a lifesaving treatment. Now if we can get help for our younger sisters in perimenopause we will have done our job.

My friend went to doctors for 6 years…. turned away, called dramatic, told it was all in her head…. she finally demanded one specific test HERSELF…. it was ovarian cancer, they could have saved her, instead it was too late, and she passed at just 26 years old 💔 TAKE WOMEN SERIOUSLY.

In medical school they also do not talk about nutrition.

When I started working in Ireland, I was shocked that the majority of women are on HRT. The state pays for it and it’s not stigmatized like it was in the states.

This was a fantastic interview. Thank you to both of you !

I know Dr. Mary Claire didn’t answered some of the questions directly , such as what’s her routine to stay looking the way she does, but one can follow her on her social media and watch her videos- she has tons of videos on that subject . I buy some of her products bc I trust her so much. Understandably so there is just so much to cover in such little time.

I am a 50 year old Latina and have been following her for the last year or so. If it wasn’t for everything I have learned from her, I wouldn’t have had the language to advocate for myself . I am on the estrodial patch and it has helped me tremendously with my symptoms of fatigue , body aches, and mood swings.

With that said , yes Katie, there is a huge problem out here where most of the women seeking for help can’t find a GYN that listens to us about our symptoms and that feel comfortable prescribing HRT. I know I have encountered so many doctors and other women that hear the word “ hormones” and get alarmed.

Know this ladies , they will attempt to minimize your symptoms as if you have to live with them . They are wrong ! Don’t give up on asking for what you need . Do your research before going to the doctor and quote the latest research if you have to .

Such an insightful conversation. Dr. Haver’s work is helping women see menopause as a stage of empowerment, not decline. We are creating a safe space where women can find clarity, support, and confidence to prioritize their health.

Researchers who study women’s health focus on cosmetic issues rather than medical because that’s where the profits are. We feel pressured to look young and attractive.

It’s refreshing to observe Katie sharing and spreading the good news for women’s health using HRT over her past focus using her voice dividing liberal & conservative women.
