If you want to see Stevie absolutely go off you should watch Rhiannon Live on the Midnight Special in 1976. Mick Fleetwood said it was like an exorcism on stage every show. I've watched it more than I can count and I still catch my breath watching her.

Next song should be her collaboration with Tom Petty in "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" and her song "Gypsy".

She is dressed like a white winged dove. Apparently the white winged dove has a unique call and she finally was able to hear it a number of years after she sang this song.

The backup singer in blue is Sharon Celani. She's a powerhouse.

Think Fleetwood Mac's Rhiannon, live on the Midnight Special, is perhaps Stevie's stand-out vocal performance. She really puts it all out there at the end

I was 22 when this came out. This song was everywhere in the early 80s. The Stevie Nicks song that is her most famous is probably "Rhiannon." This song is about grief. Specifically, the loss of two Johns in Stevie Nick's life. Her Uncle John, who had just died from cancer, and John Lennon who was gunned down. I think the main inspiration was for John Lennon's tragic death. John Lennon's death was very impactful to society when it happened.
