  Rumours is one of the best albums of all time. Saw Fleetwood Mac live in the 70's in Chicago and they were amazing. But the highlight was Christine McVie performing "Songbird" to a stadium so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Her buttery, rich voice took our breath away.

  Stevie Nicks was mesmerizing as a 28 year old vixen. Men the world over had a huge crush on her. She's been inducted into the Rock Hall twice, for FM and as a solo. You Make Loving Fun was written by Christine McVie RIP about her lover the lighting guy. She told her husband John, the bassist, that it was about their dog. LOL

  Lindsey is my favorite guitar player.  He can make it sound like there's three people playing at once while singing... and he can also make his guitar sound like a banjo imo.    Their 1997 concert, The Dance, which was the 20th anniversary of, the release of the 1977 hugely popular "Rumours" album is fantastic.  Most of the songs from that concert are on YouTube and they sound just as good  20 years later as they did in 1977.

  There's a reason why they were so huge back in the day. They were all great musicians and the vocals were top tier as well. But there was also the SONGS!! They wrote incredible songs, especially during their most tumultuous period when both couples (John/Christine McVie and Lindsey Buckingham/Stevie Nicks) were in the midst o break-ups. Many emotional, personal songs written by them during those times and they resonate with people. Great to see younger people like yourself appreciated the music older people like me grew up with. Cheers!

  This lineup of Fleetwood Mac had only been together about a year when this live performance took place. In the mist of close quarter breakups, the drive for their craft prevailed. In this first year (1975) Stevie wrote a song called "Think About It".  She said it was directed at Christine who said she was going to leave the band because of relationship issues with her (x)husband bass player John McVey that was making everyone uncomfortable. Stevie said lucky for her Christine stayed because if Christine had left so would she.
