  As a brazilian, this is very strange and unique! I say I love you all the time to my partner and people that I love... You never know when it&apos;s going to be the last time.

  My japanese immigrant grandmother had a little to much to drink and started crying at my mother&apos;s bridal shower because she felt like she never showed more affection for her, or not as much as is normal in America. Although this is not about dating necessarily, its interesting to see romatic and familial relationships side by side.

  Here in Austria, how big of a deal introducing someone to your parents is completely depends on how close you are to your parents as an adult, physically and emotionally. If you have a good relationship, it&apos;s quite common to even introduce platonic friends and roommates if they happen to be around. Like, there&apos;s no actual reason to be secretive about any relationships.

  I&apos;m a big fan of being very clear about what&apos;s happening, what feelings we have and our expectations. I also prefer to show love through small actions of care on daily life.
