My autumn wall hanging is already up (normally wait for the equinox). I have to say I've hated the baking heatwaves - the poor plants and wildlife. The first downpour we had, we stood outside and just loved it - and the thunder and lightning - and cheered every time it rained. I'd like to think I'll never grumble about the rain again!

Dollar Tree has glass jack-o-lantern votive candle holders. Sturdy and adorable. I didn't find the one ounce glass jars I love but they had "lab flask" type mini bottles that flare at the base and have cork stoppers.

Every autumn, my husband and I rewatch Over the Garden Wall!! It’s cozy and spooky and perfectly self-contained. 10/10 watching experience every time.

I'm in the states, and we are still having heat waves here! But my favorite part of autumn is the cooking and baking. I love to bake a lot, my pumpkin bread, chocolate chip and pumpkin sugar, cookies, and pumpkin, cranberry, and gingerbread cheesecakes are favorites, and slow cook stews and soups. My potato soup, lamb stew, and corn chowder are usually requested. We do Thanksgiving over here, and there's a common tradition of something called Friendsgiving, where you have primarily friends instead of family over for a meal, usually in November. I used to do this, and I miss it so much. I love hosting, and I love decorating for a theme!
