Storm (Thorgerson), in case anyone is wondering, was an old friend of David's from their teenage years. Storm also knew Sid and Roger at school in Cambridge and went on to create the graphic art group Hypgnosis, producing many familiar album covers for top bands, including the pyramid design for Dark Side of the Moon. He was best man at Polly and David's wedding.

I've worked for David and polly and they are both very normal genuine people. David is shy but approachable and polly is a smiley happy inviting lady. David in a home environment is just like any other home owner I've worked for. He doesn't come across as the big rock star that he is and doesn't make that known. If you didn't know who David gilmour was he is just a normal guy!
