Disney wanted their own star wars. When it flopped  they bought Star Wars and made it even worse.

One thing positive about The Black Hole was the production design. That space ship looked magnificent.

1984 Dune, Black Hole, Flash Gordon, and Titan AE are genuinely some of my favorite movies. They are so fun and full of good memories for me. I watched all of them with my dad and they influenced the person I grew into. Plus, Flash Gordon has Brian Blessed, in one of the most unhinged roles I've ever seen him in.

John Carter, Titan A.E., The Postman, Flash Gordon, and Dune are unique films that I enjoy and own in my collection. Really wanted to see a sequel to John Carter.

The soundtrack for &quot;Flash Gordon &quot; uses audio from the movie so it&apos;s like listening to a condensed audio book version of the movie.

It&apos;s amazing how often I see Dino de Laurentis&apos;s name in the credits of some massive film that lost money, yet he just kept going.

I watch the black hole at least once a year. Mostly because it put me into shock when I was a kid. Yes, it is bad, but as a kid I thought most of the movie could be real and it actually started my interest for physics, space and space travel. The alarm, when the asteroids hit the ship still gives me goose bumps today.

I thought the end of <br>&apos; The Black Hole&apos; was disappointing. I saw it in the theater, I was 10.

Remember seeing The Black Hole in the cinemas aged 11. Totally loved it and the soundtrack by John Barry was absolutely amazing. Watched it again a few years ago and still enjoyed it. Am so glad that Disney made it especially as it is so much darker than what they usually released.
