  I actually appreciate "real" life photos...saw a VERY updated portfolio of the house OUTSIDE and when i actually DROVE BY myself,weeds everywhere, grass wild,driveway busted up,camper parked next door which also looked run down(it was cropped out lol)

  The 3-color room looks like it's supposed to have color but is taken on black and white film. My brain keeps trying to figure out what the colors are supposed to be. Reminds me of taking b&w photos as a teen thinking I was soooo artsy.

  Airbnb photos often make the same window mistake. We look for rentals right on the beach. If I can't see the beach through windows, I won't rent it. I know the owners version of "on the beach" is not really on the beach. Closed curtains, to me, means hiding something.

  I appreciate Jen&apos;s advice but as someone who&apos;s house-hunted for four years, here&apos;s what I&apos;ve learned:<br>1. What sells a house is price, condition, and location. &nbsp;Many houses are overpriced for their location and condition. i.e., &quot;the house with structural problems that the sellers bought during the COVID mania and now want to re-sell for double their purchase price without one single upgrade.&quot;<br>2. Staging isn&apos;t as important as cleaning and decluttering. &nbsp;As Jen says, get the curtains and blinds up and get light into the house. I saw a house with grandma-style furniture and powder blue carpeting. &nbsp;I looked past it because the house was in good condition and kept immaculately clean. &nbsp;I don&apos;t agree that most buyers don&apos;t have imagination. &nbsp;Buyers want to see a house that&apos;s been cared for and can imagine themselves putting their own touches onit.<br>I don&apos;t think staging hurts. I&apos;m sure it helps. But if it&apos;s not done right, I don&apos;t see it hurting much at all.

  Wow! Your pictures are great! &nbsp;What a difference between your pictures and pictures of the other homes. &nbsp;Your photos also illustrate how to stage a home and the drone photos rock too. 😊

  It looks like the home owners took the pictures. &nbsp;They’re just awful. &nbsp;These houses appear to have bigger issues than terrible staging, though.

  For some of these big houses, I am going to assume, and I could be wrong, that the people want to downsize. It would be great if they would do some sort of estate sale or something to get rid of half their crap before they leave. It would make the house look better. It’s a lot less stuff to move. And it’s just easier.
