Being a house cleaner who specifically focuses on house showing deep cleaning:<br>Light switches<br>Vents and grates<br>Ceiling fans<br>Bathroom ventilation fans<br>Stairs<br>Corners and entry steps of doors to the house and garage<br>Door frames- top to bottom<br>Window screens- clean them, repair or replace them and label them with a permanent marker to prevent confusion for new owners<br>Cracked outlet covers/plates<br>Lightbulbs- wipe with dry microfiber cloth<br>Oven, microwave and STOVE. <br>The fridge. <br>Wipe out cabinets and drawers and cabinet fronts. <br>These are the biggest things that I see most often

I cant tell you how many times I have hired "professionals" to do things I dont want to, only to come home and see the result and say to myself I could have done this, I hired you because I wanted it done BETTER than I could.

You brought a smile to my face when you said “somethin’ somethin’” - reminded me of my sister who left this world way too soon as she used to say that. Watching all of the videos on selling has pretty much convinced me to stay in my home. There are problems with aging in place in this house but they can be solved one by one and the stress of selling and finding a new place seems enormous. Also I love this historic house and I would mourn it.

Flowering shrubs should only be trimmed or pruned right after they finish flowering if you trim in the spring you will be trimming all the flower buds

I clean my fridge, stove, and floors after dinner. I deep clean every 3 to 6 months.

Great advice! Weiman also makes Hardwood Polish and Restore. It works wonders on my 47yo parquet floors.
