DayZ Feels Just Like THE WALKING DEAD

The Walking Dead Series is one of the most popular tv series in history. The show was able to bring in over 17 million concurrent viewers. That's more than the entire population of many countries today, all watching one show. The Walking Dead series was so popular, mainly because it took the typical outbreak scenario, and turned it into a drama about survival. The viewer is able to meet, and eventually understand the thinking of each character. This understanding of character came mostly from emotions and actions (or reactions), and conversations during everyday survival tasks, and during tense fights with zombies and other survivors. As you will see in this video, DayZ has many undeniable similarities to the emotions and tension felt in The Walking Dead. Each survivor in DayZ has one task, to survive. The way they each player chooses to survive, based on all of their past experiences, makes a story unique to that player. These stories are what make encounters in this game so interesting. You get to know players by their early impressions, and only through trust will you make it far enough to see what their true intentions are. When these stories collide, sometimes you get friendships that last, but sometimes, you end up fighting for your life, alone. This is the DayZ experience.
