This is perfection! Love how respectful he is towards the staff, and apologizing for enjoying the food in front of them. We know that's the job, but showing consideration is so nice. Also, the fact that he appreciates other chefs and supports their restaurants is absolutely fabulous.

My partner and I had omakase sushi with Chef Saisho when we visited Japan for the first time last year (booked through Japan by Food). He's amazing! Not only was he very friendly and welcoming, but also knowledgeable and funny. He prepared one of the best and most memorable meals we had while in Tokyo. I'm so glad to see he's back on by Food. Definitely check out his restaurant if you can. This is a great new series!

Chef Nobu taking us around some of Tokyo’s hidden food gems was such a treat! 🍣✨ There’s something special about discovering the places that chefs themselves love.
