Fun fact women only makeup 10% of sushi chefs in Japan and only 6% own sushi restaurants. The fact that dad encouraged his daughter to attend the sushi academy just shows he believes in her ability to become a sushi chef.

In the near future, it would be cool to see a day in the life of a rice farmer. In the distant future, a day in the life of a Shinkansen conductor, police officer, paramedic, traditional tea ceremony master, swordsmith (Katana master) or one of Japan's most sports athlete no matter the sport. A tour of Toyota or Honda car factories as a behind the scenes series would be dope as well.

Thank you for showing us what life is like for ordinary Japanese people, including business owners and workers, that the news often does not cover. I've always been fascinated by different cultures, including Japanese culture, and I've followed you for years. I especially enjoy watching the videos about food because my first degree is in Culinary Arts and Commercial Food. Working on my next degree now.
