Your recap of Solar Lottery is much better than my memory of it haha. I remember not liking it all that much but maybe I should give it another try. If you haven’t already, you should do a review of Ubik. That’s my favorite PKD novel. Or maybe some of the short stories could be fun.

The society reminds me a bit of the Lawful Evil alignment in The Nine Hells of D&D.

I've only read PKD's A Scanner Darkly and Flow My Tears, the Policeman Said. I really liked Scanner, but didn't get why so many people like Flow My Tears. The ideas are great, but his writing isn't for me. I think Dick's writing is very much a product of its time. The description of Solar Lottery sounds interesting though.

Are you starting with Solar Lottery and continuing with the rest of Dick's books? Or was this just a one off video? If you get to it, I'd love for you to do a comparison of The Man in the High Castle book and TV show. I really liked the first season of it.
