  I rewatch this movie at least once per year. Hollywood does not make these kinds of serious films anymore.

  I love this movie, it’s got such beautiful camera work and I love the behind the scenes feel it gives you. There’s lots of space there, no conversations needed. Silence can be gripping.

  I was a few months off my eighth birthday, living in London. My father had me late in his life, an international traveler and very aware of global politics. TV would only be news, global events, talk shows etc and I’d sit there, play with my Lego, whilst father would explain who was being interviewed, what the issue was about etc. <br>Thus politics and news were my football and seeing Nixen abdicate - I watched this a 1-2 in the morning on a news special - was my equivalent to superbowl/football World Cup. <br>These interests followed me into my professional life as a financial futures broker in the city of London, back in the 90s.<br>I just loved this movie and was fascinated from start to finish

  I was in High School during Watergate. My social studies teacher had a TV in the classroom and we watched the &nbsp;Watergate hearings . On the blackboard was written &nbsp;,&quot; THE WATERGATE GANG with all the people involved.Couldn&apos;t wait to get to class every day. It certainly shaped my politics from then on. Actually wanted to go into journalism. Ended up driving a bus for 30 years in king county &nbsp;/ Seattle until my retirement in 2020. Not as exciting as being a journalist but certainly a good career. One of my favorite movies then and now.
